Chasing race trucks in the desert, arguing about tire pressure around campfires at midnight, secretly planting cameras under modified trucks, and calling it all “work”… It may sound strange, but that’s the real off-road lifestyle.

Off Road Xtreme is now looking for a new editor. We’re seeking someone who understands off-road driving not just as a hobby, but as a lifestyle, with real-world knowledge of off-road vehicles, suspension tuning, manufacturing, and racing trucks.

How will the job work?

In this role, you will oversee the overall publishing direction of Off Road Xtreme, creating and managing content for both the website and social media. This will include stories about challenging rock climbing vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, UTVs, diesel trucks, workshop projects, and the off-road community.

Sometimes you’ll write feature articles, sometimes product reviews. At other times you’ll be following events, taking photos and videos, or explaining complex suspension systems in simple terms.

What kind of people are you looking for?

The company is looking for people who truly live and breathe off-road driving culture. If your phone gallery is full of truck photos, your vacations revolve around “off-road access,” or you can recognize good workmanship even from afar, this job might be for you.

What skills will be needed?

Experience in automotive media, photography, video, social media, or content creation is beneficial. Knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop, and modern content platforms is also helpful.

Where will the work take place?

This position is based in the Temecula, California office. However, remote or hybrid work options are also available for the suitable candidate.

Traveling for work is also essential, because real off-road adventures happen not in conference rooms, but in the mountains, deserts, and trails.
